Originally despatched to the metropolitan police at scotland yard, This bike has probably seen some action in it's day. It looks much different these days though, as it has been powder coated in blue. No rust on any of the bodywork just a bit on the exhaust down pipes. I was told by the previous owner that it had a recent rebore with new pistons, also new stubs for the water pipes. It runs very sweet with no issues. Being ex police, It has the higher output 12 volt lucas charging system which is in full working order. Front rim has been renewed at some time but the rear is original. I have fitted the earlier multijet carb, as the throttle response is better, but I still have the original amal. A dual seat is also included in the sale. Other spares are available if required. She starts and runs as sweet as a nut, and pulls really well for 200cc and cruises around 45-50 mph.
